myhosting.com Our personal experience with My Hosting .com. First of all our client wanted us to update their WordPress and are on one of myhosting.com’s shared hosting plans.
Message to myhosting.com: Current version of Enfold (4.1.2) working on a PHP 5.2.17 installation
Current PHP version is too old to run the latest version of the theme properly. Minimum PHP version recommended for WordPress is 5.6 and Enfold is compatible up to PHP 7.1.
Reply from myhosting.com: Since you are using a shared hosting plan, to get a higher version above 5.2.17, we recommend you to upgrade to our VPS services.
Essentially upgrade or nothing, when communicating further via phone the Host further denied the very easy to fix problem was even their out dated php at all. This was it for me the straw that broke the camels back. Our advice to this client was simple move to a host that will work for you and not blatantly rip you off.

Arbara W Star 1 Frustrating and Time consuming problems I have used Myhosting part of Softcom for my company web & email hosting for over 15 years and the support has deteriorated to the most frustrating & time consuming costly service. My Website was hacked whilst under their hosting, still not resolved, migration service from one of their service’s to another of their services took 2 weeks, double billing still not resolved. No facility to cancel subscription on their control panel despite their online support advising to amend subscription online!! I am spending so much time trying to resolve and monitor it is the most frustrating situation. I am posting this as no other recourse to do so.
Dave Star 1 Myhosting support stinks !! Myhosting are fine when they want to sell you something and when things are running on their own. Things go badly wrong when you need some support. Its support staff are clueless. Everything has to be escalated with the scripted response of 24 to 48 hours. Reality is it takes much longer. Quick to take your money, extremely slow to support you. Worst hosting company in existence.

They don’t back-up your data, so when you get hacked your business is terminated. not recommended. poor customer support, poor company all around. not recommended what-so-ever
